B House and Hair Wellness Salon is a salon inside a residential house. 

B House is geared to personalize your experience. It is quiet and only you and your stylist. There is no double booking with your appointments. Your time is only for you. You can request a mostly silent service, play your choice of music via Alexa Streaming, we can have casual conversations or you can tell me about your whole day and all your stresses if you need to get things off your chest. 

B House is a unisex salon. All my chemical hair services are standard $60 an hour, day to day styling and cutting are $50 per hour  and all can be prorated to the 15 min increment in most cases. I offer hair coloring and highlighting, haircutting, styles including formal styling, permanent waving, conditioning treatments, and standalone services such as just a hair wash, neck trim, or bang trims.

I also offer full body waxing at $60 per hour. This also can be prorated down to the 15 min increments for most services after the base amount. The full body is from the head (scalp) to the toes. 

Along with Hair and Waxing services, I also offer Teeth Whitening. This is a quick 1 hour out of your day for brighter whiter teeth. 

About the Stylist

My name is Kori and I have been doing hair for going on 31 years. I started in 1992 at J C Penny's Salon in Kennewick. Like most stylists, I jumped around a bit to find my perfect salon. The last salon I was at for 8 years was almost the perfect salon at Yada. However, Covid hit and all things change eventually. 

I love doing hair because I like making people feel beautiful and or handsome. I want people to feel good when they leave my salon. I also like the friendship that is created over time. I have been included in so many gatherings and events with my clients, that not only do I do amazing things for them but in return, they do amazing things for me. I am part of the family. 

I do my best to work around clients' schedules that are sometimes just so hectic they can't seem to find a place in my schedule. I will work with clients by sometimes starting earlier or staying later than my schedule states. With that said, sometimes I run behind on clients cause of events I can't control rather that is them running late or underestimating the time it takes for a changed service, or just because they needed an ear to feel better before going home or continuing their day. I always will let clients know if an unexpected delay is happening. Though this doesn't happen often, It is a courtesy I would expect as a customer.

I also lend my time to doing senior citizens' hair at an independent facility. My hours reflect this at the bottom of this page.

About B House Salon

This house is a historic letter house built in the early 40s for the Manhattan Project that built the Atomic Bomb. The name gives it away as this house is a B House. The B House is a ranch-style Duplex. In the '60s this house was modified and one side was made smaller to open up and enlarge the other side. The smaller side became a mother n law retreat. Through the years and multiple owners, this 500 sq. ft. area has been rented out numerous times as a 1 bedroom furnished apt. That is until August 2020 when the last tenant moved out. It wasn't planned to turn this area into a salon just yet though. Gov. Inslee kept pushing forward the eviction moratorium and with remodeling being done on this area it was planned at some point to rent out. Times were changing. I didn't want to be closed down again and I didn't like all the guidelines for salons that were being implemented cause of Covid. So here we are today. In September of 2021, I moved into my own fully furnished salon with its own entrance and parking. Though not fully finished to how I want it, it is a work in progress.
